After receiving a very large estimate qoute from a competitor for some serious car maintenence I decided to go with Pit Stop (if i am going to spend approx $2000, i might as well collect the fly buys points!) Not only was the work almost half of the competitors charges but i felt truely cared for, with the mechanic working late into the night to get my car back to me ASAP. They didnt try to find lots of things wrong with the car. SOME places offer cheap services/warrants etc just so they can get revenue for themselves, by saying lots of repairs need doing.New Plymouth people just did the job efficiently and mentioned that our car had oil under the motor, didnt try to push me to get it looked at. I have re-booked the car for a minor repair because they were great to deal with
